I found the Medilight staff very professional and very careful when doing the treatments.

As I was having full face done, plus an area of rosacea on my cheeks, the treatments did take a little longer and I did need more than average number of treatments. I was looking for a gentler form of treatment than sclerotherapy and was prepared to persist with ELOS instead.

Medilight staff were careful with each treatment and monitored my pain levels and the treatment strength, especially in the first few treatments where we were working out how my skin responded and what treatment strength it could take.

I particularly liked having the same technician from treatment to treatment as this person knew what they had done on the previous visit and could adjust what they did each appointment to get the best result.

By the 5th treatment I could see a big reduction in redness across my face, especially nose and chin. Colleagues in my workplace started commenting on how 'well' I looked which was great. These comments have continued to this day.

The redness and small broken veins on my chin, top of the nose and cheeks have improved with each visit. Improvement was faster at the higher treatment power but I did feel a little more sensitive during these treatments.

I have noticed overall my skin has improved texture and has toned up (yes it is tighter) and the laugh line from nose to mouth is far shallower than it was.

Best of all - pores have been reduced across my T-zone which was really surprising - something I didn't expect.

I have continued having additional treatments to try and remove the larger broken veins on and under my nostrils. ELOS on its own can't remove these entirely, and staff did advise that before I started treatment. ELOS has definitely improved them so they are less noticeable and need less makeup to cover them.

I no longer use a green concealer all over my face and I feel I look just fine with mineral powder as my 'makeup'.

I have had the hydrabrasion prior to each treatment and really love how it leaves my skin. I have an oily T zone - and still get occasional zits despite being 50 years old. I found it really good at clearing the skin and unblocking deep pores and blackheads. Its something I will continue to get done regularly because its so quick and so very effective as a deep facial.
