HOW DOES ELOS SKIN REJUVENATION STANDARD AND ELOS SKIN REJUVENATION ADVANCED WORK?

Elos Skin Rejuvenation Standard is suitable for all skin types and is a fatastic anti-age treatment that can visibly reduce brown spots (pigmented imperfections), sun damage, red blotchiness, spider viens, rosacea (vascular imperfections) and uneven skin texture will improve over a treatment series. It is less agressive than the advanced treatment with little to no social down time.

Elos Skin Rejuvenation Advanced, suitable for lighter skin types is delivering AMAZING results for sun damage, pigmentation, vascular imperfections, spider viens and un-even skin tones. Elos Skin Rejuvenation Advanced is more aggressive and delivers results faster for suitable candidates.

Both technologies use focused light and bi-polar radio frequency energies to restore skin to a more youthful state.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A TREATMENT WITH ELOS SKIN REJUVENATION?
Each treatment will result in gradual lightening and improvement of pigmented and vascular imperfections. Textural improvements are appreciated towards the end of the treatment series.

HOW FREQUENTLY DO I NEED TREATMENTS?
Treatments are scheduled every four weeks. An average of 5 treatments is required for the STANDARD treatment, and 3 on average for the advanced.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT POST TREATMENT?
ELOS SKIN REJUVENATION STANDARD: Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The improvement in pigmented and vascular irregularities can often be appreciated by the time patients return for their next treatment a month later. Brown spots temporarily go darker before they lighten. Make-up easily masks the imperfections that are temporarily seen as part of the treatment.

ELOS SKIN REJUVENATION ADVANCED: A more aggressive approach to reducing sun damage, uneven skin tones and broken capillaries, this treatment does mean dark spots immediately post treatment. Described by most as the "milo effect", it looks as if milo has been thrown all over the treatment area. We do advise no make-up to be applied for 24 hours post treatment, and no active ingredients for up to a week. You can return to work immediately post treatment, however "Social Down-time" is approximately 1-2 weeks. It is called "Social Down-time" while the "milo effect" is visible.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF TREATMENTS FOR MY SKIN CONDITION?
Skin Rejuvenation Advanced delivers results faster, typically 3 treatments are required, depending on severity of damage. Fine lines can be visibly softened post your first treatment.

Skin Rejuvenation Standard is as follows:
Sun-damaged skin, erythema from Rosacea, Telangiectasias and pigmented lesions typically require 4- 5 treatment sessions.
Some resistant vascular and pigmented lesions may require more than 5 sessions to achieve fading or improvement.
Fine lines, pore size and superficial depressed scarring may also show noticeable softening after 4- 5 treatment sessions treatment time.

Treatments with Elos is very safe for the skin.

There are many advances in the technology that make it unparalleled for skin safety, without compromising the effectiveness of the treatment. There are no long term health hazards from light or electric energies used in the treatment. Both have been used for decades in medicine, surgery, and aesthetics without adversity.

WHAT DOES A TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
The sensation is often described as “hot pinch” feeling. The sensation only lasts for fraction of a second, and you may feel warmth or tingling sensation for a short time afterward. Most people tolerate treatment well. The Elos system has a pre and post cooling tip built in, which makes the treatment comfortable and safer!
